There wasn't one thing about Indianapolis that was good.
There wasn't one thing about Indianapolis that was good. The roads were terrible had to have work done on both of my vehicles because of the roads. The whole place is a ghetto. IU hospital is a mash unit except the nursing staff.

The hotel is centrally located in walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium (football) and the basketball arena. Also numerous quality restaurants in walking distance. Overnight parking at $45 per night was far too expensive. The view from our windows was of an active homeless encampment with participants. A slight wall would have blocked that view from hotel guests. Hotel personnel and staff were very personable and professional. Free Breakfast was good.

The Palladium was beautiful and we saw a great concert. also we enjoyed the German Christmas festival. We ate at "Bar Louie" and it was very good. All of the traffic circles in Carmel are a little tricky but serve the purpose. Traffic signage and street signs are very easy to see and helpful.

Indianapolis is one of my happy places.
Indianapolis is one of my happy places. It's steeped in history and beauty. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Eiteljorg Museum. The art was beautiful. I did feel the staff was a bit stalkerish as they seemed to find me and pace near me. Not sure if it was because I am a plus size Black woman. I had every tattoo but one on display. I guess I stuck out from their traditional demographic. It was still the experience of a lifetime. You have to go. I was going to do the Indiana State Museum as well but I'll save that for another visit. I used the transit system while I was there. Every driver was helpful and very friendly. I got lost at the Castleton Square Mall. It was very confusing. In their defense I'm severely directionally challenged. I was in Indy for my birthday weekend. If I could stand the Winters I would move here. The only down side is figuring out their streets. One becomes another with no warning and for no reason. Still go it's easier if you drive.
We were not able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast because of our time schedule. But, hopefully when we return we will have more time to do that!!
We were so happy with everything that the Nestle Inn provided!! Our bed was so comfy and the room and bathroom so clean!! I love the extra touches of the robes and make-up cloth!! Great idea to put clean towels In a bag outside of the room!! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Indianapolis!! Gretchen Umbaugh
Very comfortable Suite - Room 903. Large lovely bed, two televisions, kitchen equipped with sink, microwave and fridge/freezer. Large very clean bathroom - sink, toilet and shower. Breakfast was delicious. Shahrukh - great guy - Receptionist told me about the zTrip car service which I used for all my travels to different locations during my stay in Indianapolis. Lady called Nita - working on the floor level - with all the hotel guests - was very friendly, helpful and professional.
I love the location, just across the Gainbridge fieldhouse, home of the Pacers. Also, the hotel is conveniently located in downtown area, walking distance to many restaurants and monument circle, and the Circle City mall is just next block where there is a skywalk to the convention center. The hotel room is big, it has kitchen and appliances needed for your stay. Breakfast is good, but it's the same for all the 6days I stayed in Hyatt house.
The hotel is in a beautiful building and has cozy decor in the lobby. The rooms are nice with comfy beds and nice toiletries (the Omni partners with Nest and the shampoo and body wash were "Sicilian orange" which smells amazing). There was plenty of space in the room for two of us and our bags for the Indy 500. The hotel location is very central to Indianapolis and the city is pretty walk-able. The valet was easy to use as well.
Of all the Comfort Inns around Indianapolis this location outshines all the rest. The others remind you constantly that you're staying in a "budget friendly" hotel while the Indianapolis East location makes you feel like you're staying in a much pricier property. It's clean, updated, well maintained and with friendly, helpful staff. This location will be my go-to any time I'm in the Indianapolis area!
I really liked how friendly the staff was at the hotel, that was the best part for me. The hotel and our queen suite were also really big and clean, which was nice. But what made our stay extra special was that it was my birthday, and every time I walked through the lobby, the staff would wish me a happy birthday. That made me feel really good and made our stay even better.
In Indianapolis for DCI finals. This is a great place to stay for this event, great facility, close to both Lucas Oil and Military Park, as well as fun downtown places. Fun to come back after a night of band to see all drum corps people hanging out and talking band., Will stay here again!
We loved the location of this hotel, right down town, within walking distance of White River State Park, Indianapolis Zoo, the Monument, and lots of restaurants. We also really appreciated the hot breakfast -- lots of choices and friendly service.
I was attending a three-day event at Lucas Oil Stadium and the hotel was very close. Despite the closure of I-70 through Indianapolis the route was a breeze to get there. This is the only positive thing about this hotel.
